Different conceptions about the nature of the globe focus on the variety of worlds existing at different times and places. Some philosophers talk of a “unity of worlds” whilst others regard the globe as having a” plurality of worlds.”
The Latin term for “World” is us. In English, this word is commonly used in contexts relating to political terminology. National boundaries are involved when we speak of political nations or areas. However, political boundaries are often regarded as relating to the natural boundaries of bodies of water and land such as oceans, rivers, etc..
